traffic stopper.
[tFS]
Miranda Kerr during her last Sydney trip.
My eyes.
They squinted.
Desperately trying to fathom the much hyped-up trademark behind the tanned leather jacket, worn ever-casually yet elegantly tailored and liquefied around her petite frame.
I Googled.
Gorman.
The answer blinked.
I was without a doubt enthralled.
Ahh. I would have guessed. But who knew Gorman Winter 09 would produce yet another leather masterpiece.
Today I rushed into David Jones during my much anticipated lunch break. Though they didn't have my size, I tried the jacket on regardless.
A few tosses and turns around the distilled mirror. It almost screams back in delight.
The leather simply melts onto your skin. The colour, a staple. The shape? Morphs to your body like no other.
Clearly bewildered in spite of the just under $1000 price tag. I leave the store with the only thing in mind.
The 23rd item on my Wish List A/W 09.

times like these
[Ph. Miguel Domingos at Lacroix]
I'm currently hunting a black, warm, wool coat. My friend just bought a Cohen et Sabine one the other day. So perrfect. Can't wait to wear all my Winter clothing. I'm in desperate need of a black leather jacket though. No suck luck so far - everyone recommends Mike & Chris. Any other suggestions guys?
Much Love
X

So I have a lingerie fetish. I can't resist to purchase anything I've set my eyes on. These wise words 'dress from the inside, out' will forever be with me. Beautiful lingerie always makes my day.

that shimmer in your life
[tFS]
Tiiu!
How I miss this girl!! I could have sworn it was only a year or 2 ago where she was emblazoned spread after spreads and nowadays she's hardly in the spotlight. Not sure if she's retired, she looks far too young but she does the most amazing eds! Love what she's wearing here with the shimmered opaque tights, leather bomber and a quilted, lace crochet dress simply to die for.

melt your heart out
[tFS - Elie Saab Runway 09]
Ever felt like there's just that one dress that would complete your wardrobe?
Saab's collection was breathtaking, like many of her previous. Never have I realised dresses or a simple dress would bring forth delight like I've never seen before. Remind me this is listed under 'a one-day wedding dress'. In the meantime, I'll keep you updated with the (non-existent) process.

Gee. Been a while since my last update. (I've missed you guys!) I think the term 'busy' itself is insufficient to describe how I've spent my weeks. But it's all smooth sailing besides an amass of changes along the way and the fact I've missed out on the virtual world - quite specifically, blogging itself. To my suprise I didn't realise my last update was almost a month ago until one of my best friends mentioned the fact my blog has been left untouched for quite some time now.
So Sydney's undergoing an array of weather modifications in the past few days, from scorching days to glacial winter chills. These noticeable changes have heightened my focus on winter clothing. I've realised we're headed towards autumn already. Besides the half packaged/summer stock, the winter wardrobe screams 'black, black and more black. Maybe a sprinkle of grey here and there oh and cream too...but mainly black'.
This dominating colour, having partially filled 70% of my wardrobe will surely be thrown into the spotlight in the short run. I'm a sucker for LBDs and nothing beats glossed-up Louboutin ankle booties, raised hemlines (daring) and a coat pretty enough to make you melt (literally).
Joops's A/W 09 is highlighted with blunt fringes, straight hair, and superlative palettes of winter styling. Heels adorned with height you've never imagined possible yet you wouldn't think twice about the audacity of your purchase. PVC skinny legs, black leather pants, subtle sequins adorned in reflective darkness and studs are known to surely bring out that relaxed, edgy and coolness you've longed to render.
