Had lunch at M's today; he is one of P's neighbours, and is a Prada personal shopper who is originally from France. He's getting married next month, after meeting the woman of his dreams by a chance meeting on a train. :) It's so lovely to see him so happy!!
There was a protest on at Parliament Square today, because George Bush is in London, and so there was this huge protest, and we were going to go, but ended up not going. So here I am, writing this entry, and downloading some films :) It is so good being free. I feel a bit guilty not working, but at the same time, it's alright. I've done some exams, and hopefully done OK *fingers crossed* I am going to decorate my room this week; I've put up some photos and some pictures from magazines that I had on my wall in Orient, and on my wardrobe at my old flat, and some other things, but I would like a new bedset, and maybe a lamp. I wonder where one buys paint from in London. I'd like to paint my wooden ladder. It's old paint, and I don't want to get splinters from it if I can help it as I forsee that I may be using it a bit... I've 99% moved in now and tidied and all. It's exciting but also scary living all alone, as I have not really done that before now. I've always had someone or people around so it might feel a little weird.
As for the plans this week... I am going to Thorpe Park tomorrow, with some friends, as D has some half price ticket things or something. I will buy things to decorate my room with, so it can be all homely and the like. Booked my ticket to go home; I can't wait. I really feel like it is time to be back there, though I am sure when I am there, I will be wishing I was in London. Anyway. On Thursday, there's mine and G's birthday thing too :)
xx
